Department of Economic Analysis & Policy (DEAP) are the policy
making department for Reserve Bank of India. Their fuction is to analyse
the state of affairs in Indian economy and formulate the policy for its
growth & progress. For the same, DEAP needs to analyse and repurpose
volumes of data and project Economic Trends every day.
As DEAP’s functioning directly and indirectly affects economy, it is
critical that Trends are projected with optimum accuracy and with
minimum margin for error.
Aksharmaya and Microsoft have designed and developed a software solution
‘Economic Analysis & Trends Reporting System’
for DEAP.
