"Nalanda" was launched on 25th
November 2002. The occasion was 18th death anniversary of Shri
Yashwantrao Chavan, the first Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Nalanda, a library and archival management software, is deployed in the library at Karad. The personal collection of Late Shri. Yashwantrao Chavan contains more than 8000 books on varied subjects.
Nalanda Professional was released by Hon. Shri. Vilasrao Deshmukh, Chief Minister of Maharashtra on 25th November 2002 at Venutai Chavan Charitable Trust, Karad.
Nalanda Enterprise was released by Shri. Govindrao Talwalkar, a renouned author and the former Editor of Maharashtra Times at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, Mumbai.
